This program helps Internet users in China to access the Internet faster and more stably. Many users report that Freegate makes visiting overseas websites just as fast as visiting local ones. A unique encryption and compression algorithm is implemented to secure and optimize users online activities. If your selected language does not display correctly, please 1) download the dynamic link library (.dll) file from the Dynaweb download page, 2) place it in the same directory as Freegate's executable (.exe) file, and 3) restart Freegate.
Version 6.77 supports simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese, English, Spanish and Farsi interfaces.

Version: Freegate 6.77
Pros: It performs its job very well. Freegate can run silently in the background with a systray icon, so there's virtually no disruption.
Cons: It pops up with a Dynaweb page when it successfully bypasses the firewall, which can get a bit annoying. Also, there's an auto-timer that closes your IE windows at the end of each session - it can be canceled/disabled though.

Pros: NONE! it a load of BS!
Cons: the second i downloaded this software Mcafee immediately detected a torjan STAY AWAY!

Cons: Program forgets your settings sometimes and keeps loading the IE browser.

"NOT THAT GREAT ....... CONSTANT DROPPING OF CONNECTION"
Pros: It did what it supposed to do. Bypass the china firewall
Cons: Yahoo, Google, etc email cannot be send out. Keep giving errors. Secondly, it slow down after few mins and the website goes dead if not used. Third, downloading esp large files, due to connection interruption, keep failing & you have to do again
Summary: The product is great in what it supposed to do but due to unstable connectivity, you get a stop-start experience, a very frustrating user experience when you have to half guess all the time whether the connection is on or off.
